Ingredients

  • 4 (12-inch) flour tortillas
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/2 pound deli-sliced roast beef
  • 3/4 cup French fried onions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, for brushing, divided
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can beef consommé
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2 –Lay the 4 tortillas on a counter or work surface.

Step 3 –Tear the provolone slices into smaller pieces and distribute the pieces evenly over each of the tortillas.

Step 4 –Place the deli roast beef evenly over the cheese layer.

Step 5 –Sprinkle the French fried onions over the roast beef layer.

Step 6 –Working with one tortilla at a time, fold the sides of the tortilla in, then tightly roll the tortilla into a roll.

Step 7 –Brush a little bit of the olive oil on the edge of the tortilla to help it stick closed, then place it seam-side down on a baking sheet.

Step 8 –Repeat with the remaining tortillas.

Step 9 –Brush the remaining olive oil over the tops of the roll-ups.

Step 10 –Bake in the preheated oven until the roll-ups are browned, about 10 minutes.

Step 11 –Combine the beef consommé, the water, the Worcestershire sauce, the soy sauce, the onion powder, and the garlic powder in a medium saucepan over medium heat and cook until warmed through.

Step 12 –Cut the roll-ups in half and plate with the warm sauce for dipping.

Step 13 –Serve.
