- 4 pork chops, bone-in or out
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar or any white vinegar
- parsley, optional, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven broiler or grill on medium-high heat.
Step 2 –Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Step 3 –Heat the oil in an oven-safe pan or skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Step 4 –Sear the chops until golden and cooked through at 145 degrees F, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Step 5 –Transfer the chops to a plate and set them aside.
Step 6 –Reduce the heat to medium.
