Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 6 hamburger rolls, about 3-inches in diameter
  • 6 slices Colby cheese
  • 18 thin slices deli ham
  • 2 cups part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –In a small bowl, combine the butter, the Dijon mustard, the poppy seeds, and the sugar. Set it aside.

Step 3 –Place the roll bottoms, cut-side up, in an ungreased 15×10-inch baking pan.

Step 4 –Brush the cut side of the rolls with the butter mixture, making sure to use a conservative amount.

Step 5 –Top each of the bottom rolls with 1 slice of the Colby cheese, 3 slices of the ham, and 1/6 of the shredded mozzarella.

Step 6 –Drizzle the sandwich fillings with 1/2 of the remaining butter mixture.

Step 7 –Replace the roll tops and brush them with the remaining butter mixture.

Step 8 –Bake uncovered until the cheese is melted, about 10-15 minutes.

Step 9 –Serve.
