  • 1 cup Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped (about 9 snack size)
  • 1/2 cup Butterfingers, coarsely chopped (about 6 snack size)
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups cocoa Rice Krispies or regular Rice Krispies cereal

Directions

Step 1 –Prepare the brownie mix by following the directions on the box for a 9×13 inch baking pan.

Step 2 –Bake until they are slightly under-baked, about 18 minutes.

Step 3 –Remove the brownies from the oven and top with the chopped peanut butter cups and chopped Butterfingers.

Step 4 –Place the pan back into the oven and bake for 5 more minutes.

Step 5 –Meanwhile, using a microwave, melt the butterscotch chips and chocolate chips together in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Run the microwave in 15-second increments, stirring in between, to prevent burning.

Step 6 –Stir the peanut butter into the melted chips until fully blended.

Step 7 –Add in the cereal, stirring until all the grains are completely covered.

Step 8 –When the brownies are finished baking, take the pan out of the oven and carefully spoon the cereal mixture on top of the brownies, gently spreading it around with the back of a spoon.
