Why Does it Take Long to Beat Darksiders II?

This game is not exciting as Darksiders III. But it is a significant leap over Darksiders. This can be seen in the amount of graphics and storytelling involved in this game. Moreover, the DLC expansion packs that came along with the game offers more side quests and more active involvement in the gameplay.

The involvement of DLC takes the game longer to complete. This game had 3 DLCs;

All of the DLCs had their share of side quests and story arcs. The Argul’s tomb is the first DLC to feature in Darksiders II. It was provided as a free copy for anyone who purchased the limited edition of Darksiders II. But it is already present in the Definitive Edition of this game which was later released. This unlocks after the Lostlight’s main quest.

Darksiders II: The Abyssal Forge is the second DLC in the game. This also came with the definitive edition. This can be accessed after the completion of the City of the Dead’s main quest. This DLC offered two new locations and also unlocked collectibles.

Darksiders II: The Demon Lord Belial is the third DLC of the game. This was unlocked in the definitive edition after the successful completion of the main quest called Shadow’s edge. This also unlocked multiple collectibles.

The main reason that it takes a long to complete this game is because of its lengthy storyline with extra content. The amazing open-world also plays a huge role as it takes so much time in exploring the open world.

Conclusion

It doesn’t matter if this game is not that great when compared to Darksiders III. But this game was remastered after careful consideration because this game was one of the hit games of its age.

The portrayal of death in this way is very much interesting and fun to play with. The DLCs of this game are also super addictive. But it is recommended to play the Definitive edition than the regular one. This is because the Definitive edition has great graphics and a lot more secret content.

The time required to complete this game is not an issue as long as a gamer enjoys the great gameplay this game offers to the player.
